Members and pending invites are managed from Settings → Organization → Team Members.
Roles at a glance
Section titled “Roles at a glance”The platform uses five roles, each a superset of the next.
- Owner — full control, including billing and removing members. Assigned to the user who created the organization.
- Admin — manages members, branding, billing, integrations, and every verification surface.
- Manager: invites and updates member roles, authors verification workflow templates, runs verifications. No billing, branding, or integrations.
- Member: runs verifications against existing workflow templates and reads workflow template definitions. Cannot author workflow templates or invite.
- Viewer — read-only.
Privileged actions are re-checked server-side.
Invite a teammate
Section titled “Invite a teammate”- Open Settings → Organization → Team Members.
- Enter the teammate’s email and pick their role from the dropdown. The default is Member.
- Submit. An invitation email is sent and the invite appears in Pending invites.
Owner, Admin, and Manager can send invites and assign any non-Owner role. Only an existing Owner can assign the Owner role.
Change a member’s role
Section titled “Change a member’s role”Open the role dropdown next to a member and pick a new role. The change is immediate and recorded in the audit log.
At least one Owner must remain — you cannot demote the sole Owner.
Remove a member
Section titled “Remove a member”Open the row’s menu and choose Remove. A confirmation dialog asks you to acknowledge the action. Removal revokes access immediately; their API keys created against this organization stop working at the same moment.
Only Owner and Admin can remove members.
Pending invites
Section titled “Pending invites”The Pending invites list shows recipient, role, expiry, and status. From each row:
- Resend — re-send the invitation email. A short cooldown prevents repeated sends.
- Cancel — revoke the invite. The link stops working.
An invite expires automatically after its expiry date — the row shows “Expired” and the link is no longer accepted.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- No email arrived. Ask them to check spam, then click Resend. If the address was wrong, Cancel and re-invite.
- Link opens but cannot be accepted. The link is bound to the invited email. See Accept an invite.
- Cannot change a role. Your role lacks permission to manage members. Only Owner, Admin, and Manager can change roles. Only an existing Owner can promote a member to Owner.
