You invite teammates from the console. Each invite carries a role that determines what the invitee can do once they accept. Pending invites and existing members are managed from the Team Members section under Settings -> Organization.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You need the org:owner or org:admin role to send an invite. The
trial itself does not gate invites — a brand-new organization on the
trial can invite teammates immediately. The invitee receives an email
with a link that expires; re-send from the same section if it does.
Send an invite
Section titled “Send an invite”In the console, open Settings -> Organization, find the Team Members section, then Invite. Enter the invitee’s email, pick a role, and submit. The invitee receives an email with an accept link.
If the invitee already has an account in another organization under the same region, accepting adds the second organization to their account. They keep their existing sign-in.
Pick the right role
Section titled “Pick the right role”The platform has five organization roles, in decreasing order of access. Each role shows a friendly label in the console; the API value is given in parentheses.
- Owner (
org:owner): full access. Can manage billing, change the subscription tier, invite other owners, and delete the organization. Every organization has at least one owner. - Admin (
org:admin): full access except billing and owner-management. Can invite admins and below, manage API keys, edit workflow templates, and review applicants. - Manager (
org:manager): operational access. Can start verifications, send invites to applicants, edit workflow templates, and review results. Cannot manage API keys or members. - Member (
org:member): day-to-day access. Can start verifications and read results for the applicants they have access to. - Viewer (
org:viewer): read-only. Used for auditors and observers.
You can change a member’s role later from the same section.
What the invitee sees
Section titled “What the invitee sees”The invite link opens the console. If the invitee already has an account, they sign in and the organization is added to their account. If not, they go through sign-up first; the invite attaches automatically once they finish. They land in the organization’s dashboard with the role you assigned.
Manage pending invites
Section titled “Manage pending invites”The Team Members section (Settings -> Organization) shows pending invites alongside accepted members. From there you can Resend a lost invite, Cancel a wrong-address invite, or Change role on an existing member (the change takes effect on their next request).
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- The invitee did not get the email. Check the email log under Developers. Spam filters are the most common cause; corporate Outlook tenants often rewrite the accept link via SafeLinks — re-send and ask the invitee to open the message in a different mail client.
- The accept link says expired. Send a fresh one from the same section.
- The invitee has an account in the other region. Regions are isolated. The invitee creates a new account in your region.
